While the straight line is an accomplice of the cheapening and standardization of many products, where does the curve take us, or even better, where does the knot take us? Turning around the stories of the Fabra i Coats textile factory and the objects it produced, the mouth that speaks to us uses words that the hands seem to have ceased to recognize.
A Knot Which is Not is the fruit of an investigation that began with the opening of the exhibition ‘Things Things Say’ curated by Latitudes (Mariana Cánepa Luna i Max Andrews) at Fabra i Coats: Centre d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, and was made public after its closure. The video was shot in the empty space of the factory, where the exhibition just took place.
