Per créixer, primer s'enterra
In Order to Grow One has to Bury

Lecture-performance, double projection, 20 min

A double projection of images that depicts the laying of cornerstones and a readen text that binds the beginnings of these ritual -rooted in sacrifices and other animistic beliefs- with a denatured image of an angled stone with eight vertices. In today's ritual, the stone is replaced with a transparent methacrylate box showing how archeology doesn't belong to the future, but rather to a mediated present that abolishes any possibility of ruins.
